Block Native Apps with Foqos

Settings and Safari in Allow Mode require a shortcut to block. You can also use this shortcut if any apps are having trouble being blocked in the App Picker.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Download the Shortcuts App in the App Store

Confirm you have the most updated Shortcuts version.

2

Download the 'Foqos Block' shortcut here

This shortcut will enable Foqos to block native apps like Safari and Settings.

3

Open the Shortcuts App

4

Switch to the "Automation" tab, and tap to create a Personal Automation

5

Select "App"

6

Select "Is Opened" and "Run Immediately", then press "Choose"

7

Choose the app you would like to block with Foqos

Press "Done" after selecting the app and then "Next"

8

Search for 'Foqos Block' and select it

Important: Do not select 'New Blank Automation'. If not appearing, try downloading the shortcut again using the link here.

9

Add the Shortcuts app to all of your Foqos modes

This ensures the automation works when any Foqos profile is active in the app

10

You're good to go!
