Stuck on “Approve Foqos in System Settings”?
Foqos needs its network extension to block websites. Sometimes macOS does not enable that extension during onboarding, so the app keeps asking for approval.
First, diagnose the issue
In Foqos, choose Approve, then Open System Settings. If Network settings opens but there is no Filters option, the Foqos network extension is not enabled yet. Follow the steps below.
Enable the Foqos network extension
-
Open System Settings and select General.
-
Open Login Items & Extensions, then scroll down to Extensions.
-
Click the information button next to Network Extensions.
-
Turn on Foqos for Mac, then confirm any macOS approval prompt.
-
Return to Foqos. The approval message should clear and website blocking should be ready.
